Pre-register visitors before they arrive
When you know a visitor is coming, send them a digital invitation. They enter basic details (name, company, who they're visiting and when), which automatically links the visitor to their host.
Check in and confirm on arrival
On arrival, the visitor is confirmed against their registration in CrewSight. Walk-ins are covered too: site teams can send an invitation on the spot or enter visitor details directly on a device at the gate or office. Site teams can also capture a photo and issue a temporary visitor badge that works with existing scanning equipment, the same process already used for worker badges.
Link every visitor to a host
Every visitor is connected to a designated host (sometimes called an escort), so a responsible person is always accountable for them on site. If the host changes, the record updates digitally, keeping a clear chain of custody. Whoever greets the visitor can see the host's contact details and notify them directly, including by text through CrewSight.
Track, check out and report
Visitors appear on the live dashboard, shown separately from the general site population, so site teams always know how many visitors are on campus and who they are. Check-out is recorded on departure, and historical visit records are available for reporting, audits and compliance. Returning visitors don't need to start over. Their profile is simply refreshed with a new visit date.
