Biosite has appointed Stephen Dimbylow as Director & Head of Product Development. This strategic appointment supports Biosite’s continued commitment to innovation and product excellence across its global portfolio.
Stephen joins Biosite with more than 25 years of experience in designing and developing industrial and consumer products, having led large engineering teams across sectors including electric motors, drinks dispenser systems, and most notably, floorcare and robotics at Dyson. At Dyson, Stephen headed the New Product Innovation team, helping define the cordless stick vacuum category and securing more than 200 patents, including pioneering the use of laser technology in cleaning heads. His recent work focused on advanced robotics and smart technologies, collaborating with software and electronics teams to develop future robotic vacuum cleaners and features for the Dyson Link app.
In his new role at Biosite, Stephen will lead multidisciplinary engineering and product teams across mechanical, electronic, firmware, and software domains. His focus will be on driving innovation, product lifecycle excellence, and strategic alignment across Biosite’s global operations, with particular emphasis on the UK and US markets.
