Biosite appoints new production staff to help manage the increase we’ve seen in demand.
During 2017, our range of integrated products proved to be very popular and we saw unprecedented growth. To help ensure that this growth could be sustained, towards the end of the year we appointed a new Operations Director. Doug Ferry has been with Biosite for a few months now and has already made numerous positive changes.
Doug brought with him vast experience in Production Management. After gaining an Engineering Apprenticeship with Rolls-Royce Aero Engines, he then studied Engineering and Management at University before working with BMW and Everest Home Improvements.
Just some of the changes that Doug has made include appointing a new Production Manager, splitting out our Installation and Service departments to ensure there is a clear focus between the two areas, increasing admin support for both of these departments, and opening up the lines of communication to provide more clarity relating to live projects. The benefits of these changes have already been seen and this is only set improve throughout 2018.
