Biosite Supports Grenfell Community Centre

We’re proud to be supporting the construction of a Grenfell Community Centre with our access control system, to help maximise safety and security on site.

In 2017, a Support4Grenfell Community Hub was launched by the Princes’ Royal Foundation, working in collaboration with numerous charities, and a centre of support for the victims and their families is currently under construction.

As with any construction site, health and safety is of maximum importance and we were approached to see if we could supply a biometric access control system. The project is going to take a few months to build and we were eager to offer any assistance we could.

Li Wang, Biosite Managing Director, said, “As soon as I got the call I knew this was a project we needed to fully support. It’s such a great cause and we donated our access control system, turnstile and pod to the site as quickly as we could.”

Prince William and Prince Harry recently visited the site to meet with representatives from all the involved organisations, as well as volunteers and former Grenfell residents.
