We’re delighted to announce that our sister company, Biosite Security, is now an SIA Approved Contractor.
The Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) provides a recognised hallmark of quality within the private security industry and it was very important to our security division that it achieved this status. Biosite Security provides manned solutions such as Security Guards, Gatemen, Dog Handlers and Concierge Staff to customers nationwide. Now in its third year of business, the company wanted to add that extra level of assurance to customers that all staff provided are of the highest quality.
Becoming an SIA Approved Contractor means that Biosite Security is regulated and inspected by the security industry authority which works directly with the home office. As a tested company it means it meets all UK insurance company requirements along with now being able to work with councils, national rail and the MOD.
Many companies go through this attainment when they’re small, but due to the recent massive growth of the Biosite group, the audit had to take place across a larger organisation, which is a great accomplishment for all involved. In addition to this, Biosite Security also scored higher than ever expected for an initial ACS entry, which is a true testament to the hard work and dedication from everyone across the company.
Biosite Security provides SIA licensed security personnel that are fully trained on administrating Biosite software solutions on behalf of clients. This means that clients can enjoy the full benefits of the product without additional overheads. In addition, all security personnel are going through data protection training to ensure that we support our clients in minimising data protection risk.
Li Wang, Biosite Managing Director, says, “It’s fantastic news that our security division has gained the highly recognised SIA approved contractor status. Through hard work from the management team and employees on the ground, we can continue to provide our valued customers with an excellent level of service, supported and regulated by the industry body.”
