Delivering hygiene support to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK this winter with Lets-Sanify

2 minutes

We called on our nationwide network of engineers and fleet of vehicles to facilitate the delivery of donated hygiene goods to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK this winter.

When sanitiser manufacturer Lets-Sanify offered to donate bundles of its innovative natural antiseptic and disinfectant solution and dispenser stands to the independent charity, Biosite were on hand to help distribute the goods in the face of logistical challenges.

This meant that all 13 House locations of the charity across the UK will be able to benefit from additional hygiene facilities for visitors.

Joanne Howe, National Corporate Partnerships Manager at Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, explains:

“There are many ways as a charity we can benefit from the support of businesses and in this instance, the combined efforts of Lets-Sanify and Biosite have demonstrated just that. We are often blown away with the generosity of donations but it can be tricky distributing donated goods across our House locations, as it often falls to volunteers or staff members.

“Biosite’s offer to help us deliver the Lets-Sanify goods has been a great help and means all of our Houses can benefit from the donation and implement additional hygiene facilities this winter. We would like to thank both companies for their generosity, including the Biosite engineers who made the deliveries.”

Simon Parr, Head of Operations at Biosite Systems Ltd, comments:

“It’s important to us that we support Ronald McDonald House Charities UK in any way we can – through raising money, donating our time or in this instance, lending our services. We have our own engineers and fleet of vehicles so when we heard about the Lets-Sanify donation, we wanted to help and make sure all of the RMHC Houses benefitted.”

Mahmudur Jaigirdar, Director of Lets-Sanify, added:

“Our hygiene products are gentle but powerful, which is why we thought they would be ideal for visitors to RMHC Houses. I’d like to thank the team at Biosite for helping us deliver the goods across the UK so they can be used. It’s been a great example of teamwork, with a shared goal of supporting RMHC and helping the families of poorly children in hospital.”

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK is an independent charity providing free ‘home away from home’ accommodation to families with seriously ill children in hospitals across the UK.
